LWDGC is an organization which aims at promoting the welfare of the underprivileged in our communities. Our activities include: 

  • Organizing Community/Rural Sustainable Development schemes for poverty alleviation
  • Promoting Education/Capacity Building for our communities 
  • Provide Primary Health Care and HIV/AIDS programs
  • Clean water for All
  • Promote Women and Children's programs
  • Audio – Visual Training (Video editing, film/documentary shooting, directing etc…)
  • Promote volunteering in our communities

GOALS, OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES

GOALS

  • Building the socio-economical and political capacity of underprivileged people especially women and youths.
  • Help and support local people discover their potentials through training, guidance and support for sustainable development.
  • Integrate water supply, sanitation and hygiene education activities
  • Emphasize community ownership of planning and management
  • Have the youths and communities connected to the new technologies by having access to computer/interned connection, Audio – Visual Training (Video editing, film/documentary shooting, directing etc…) to be self-employed and create more jobs for others
  • Emphasize self-help and community participation; benefit and involve women
  • Narrow the gap between the rich and the poor for increase economic independence of the less advantaged people.
  • Fight against common diseases especially HIV/AIDS.
  • Create a healthy living environment for local populations.

OBJECTIVES

  • Participatory identification of main axes of intervention for better development.
  • Support communities in project design, fundraising, implementation and evaluation.
  • Creating centers for education and multi-sectorial training to fight unemployment and poverty.
  • Capacity building of local associations with emphasis on women and youth associations.
  • Reduce health related problems
  • Improve on environmental management of natural resources.
